Transparency isn't optional. It's how we operate.
Trevoxa exists to solve a fundamental problem in financial services: the conflict between sales incentives and client outcomes.
We operate under fiduciary principles, meaning we prioritize your interests above our own compensation. This is not marketing language—it's how we've structured our entire business model.
Every professional in our network is vetted for credentials, regulatory standing, and adherence to fiduciary standards. We do not accept kickbacks, referral fees, or hidden compensation from the professionals we introduce you to.
Transparency starts with compensation. Here's exactly how Trevoxa generates revenue:
1. Intake & Routing: Free to users
The initial intake process and professional matching is provided at no cost.
2. Coordination Fees: For complex engagements only
When your situation requires multiple professionals to work together (e.g., estate lawyer + insurance advisor + accountant), we may charge a transparent coordination fee. This fee is disclosed upfront and optional—you always have the right to manage coordination yourself.
3. Platform Subscriptions: Optional premium features
Advanced document management, automated reminders, and multi-advisor coordination tools are available via optional subscription.
What we DON'T do:
- We don't take commissions from professionals
- We don't sell your data to third parties
- We don't accept referral fees or kickbacks
- We don't pressure you into unnecessary services
Your data belongs to you. Period.
What we collect:
- Contact information (name, email, phone)
- Intake form responses (financial situation, goals, preferences)
- Communication history with matched professionals
- Document uploads (only if you choose to use our document management features)
How we use it:
- To match you with appropriate professionals
- To facilitate introductions and coordination
- To improve our service quality
- To send relevant updates (with your consent)
What we NEVER do:
- Sell your information to third parties
- Share your data without explicit consent
- Use your information for marketing unrelated services
- Retain data longer than legally required or necessary
Your rights:
- Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data at any time
- Withdraw consent for any future communications
- Opt out of any data processing not essential to service delivery
Compliance:
We adhere to Canadian PIPEDA standards and GDPR principles for international users.
You control every introduction. Here's how consent works:
Initial Intake:
When you complete the intake form, you consent to us reviewing your information and identifying potential professional matches. This does NOT authorize us to share your information with anyone.
Introduction Approval:
Before any professional receives your contact information, you'll receive:
- Their credentials and background
- Why we believe they're a good match
- Clear disclosure of any fees they may charge
- A simple yes/no option to proceed
You can:
- Decline any introduction without explanation
- Request alternative matches
- Pause the matching process at any time
- Withdraw from the platform entirely
No pressure. No spam. No surprise contact from professionals you didn't approve.
Not everyone gets into the Trevoxa network. Here's our vetting process:
Credential Verification:
- Licensed professionals only (CFP, CPA, CLU, estate lawyers, etc.)
- Active regulatory standing confirmed
- No disciplinary actions or client complaints on record
Fiduciary Standards:
- Fee-based or commission-transparent models preferred
- Clear disclosure of compensation structures
- Agreement to prioritize client interests
Experience & Specialization:
- Minimum 5 years in practice (exceptions for exceptional credentials)
- Demonstrated expertise in stated specializations
- Client references checked
Ongoing Monitoring:
- Annual credential re-verification
- Client feedback reviewed
- Regulatory standing monitored continuously
- Professionals can be removed for complaints or ethical violations
We're building a network of professionals we'd personally work with. That's the standard.
Traditional referral platforms are lead-generation machines. Professionals pay for access to your contact information, whether or not they're a good fit.
Trevoxa works differently:
Qualified Intent:
We only facilitate introductions when there's genuine alignment between your needs and a professional's expertise.
No Pay-to-Play:
Professionals don't pay for leads. They're in our network because they meet our standards, not because they paid a membership fee.
Coordinated Execution:
We help professionals work together on your behalf. Most platforms stop at the introduction—we facilitate ongoing coordination.
Quality Over Volume:
We'd rather make zero introductions than make a bad one. Your trust is worth more than a transaction.
If something goes wrong, we want to know.
How to file a complaint:
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 1-888-TREVOXA
Response time: Within 2 business days
What happens next:
1. We acknowledge receipt and assign a case manager
2. We investigate the issue (with your consent to review records)
3. We provide a written response with proposed resolution
4. If unresolved, we escalate to independent mediation
Types of complaints we take seriously:
- Breach of privacy or consent
- Unethical behavior by network professionals
- Misleading information or misrepresentation
- Billing disputes
- Service quality issues
Accountability:
If a professional in our network behaves unethically, we remove them. If WE fail to meet our standards, we make it right.
We're happy to discuss any aspect of how we operate.
